All Seasons completes Phase 1 of Demo Farm
Finally! Phase 1 of the demo farm is complete! We prepared just about a 2.5 hectares of land and the land waits for our seedlings. We're late by a few weeks but finished nonetheless. Lined up for our first season of veggies include chillies, tomatoes, eggplant, capsicums, french beans, beets, japanese cucumber and kale. One step closer to a functioning demo farm. In our current layout, we demonstrate monocropping i.e. 1.4 ha dedicated to Taiwanese chillies and a multi-croppin

Companion planting makes farms sustainable
Companion planting is a technique that utilizes different crops to maximize space, provide homes for beneficial insects, and enriches the soil to encourage vigorous plant growth.
Here we used one of the oldest combinations of planting corn, pole beans, and squash. The corn provides the trellis for the pole beans while the legume enriches the soil with nitrogen to be used by both corn and squash. Squash is planted to take care of the weeds as the large leaves rob them of sun

We have purple corn!!
And we now have purple corn! Just a bit over 50 days after planting, we see the fruits of our labors. Purple corn is rich in phytochemicals and antioxidants - best of all, our corn is grown naturally! Drop us a note if you're interested in this healthful novelty! #Produce #Corn #VegetableFarming #allnatural #farming

All Seasons partners with LiveGreen International for Veggie Farm Prototype
