All Seasons completes Phase 1 of Demo Farm
Finally! Phase 1 of the demo farm is complete! We prepared just about a 2.5 hectares of land and the land waits for our seedlings. We're late by a few weeks but finished nonetheless. Companion planting is a technique that utilizes different crops to maximize space, provide homes for beneficial insects, and enriches the soil to encourage vigorous plant growth.
Here we used one of the oldest combinations of planting corn, pole beans, and squash. The corn provides the trellis for the pole beans while the legume enriches the soil with nitrogen to be used by both corn and squash.
